Students participated in a joyful Petal Play activity, where they created beautiful bracelets and tiaras using real or paper petals. Inspired by flowers they had learned about from India, Australia, and Switzerland, children carefully selected colourful petals and arranged them to design their own floral accessories. With the help of simple craft materials such as threads, paper, and decorative elements, students created unique pieces that reflected their imagination and creativity.
The activity provided a wonderful hands-on learning experience that strengthened fine motor skills, creativity, and concentration. It also helped students understand how flowers can be used in decorative art and cultural celebrations in many parts of the world. Children proudly wore their handmade creations, making the activity both memorable and enjoyable.

Students explored the beauty of flower rangoli, a traditional decorative art form widely practiced in India and inspired by nature. Using colourful petals and craft materials, children created simple yet attractive patterns and floral designs. Teachers explained how rangoli is often made during festivals and special occasions, symbolising happiness, beauty, and welcome.
Through this activity, students learned about the cultural significance of floral decorations and how flowers are used to express joy and celebration in many cultures. The process of arranging petals and colours helped children develop creativity, patience, and a sense of design while also strengthening their appreciation for artistic traditions inspired by nature.

Activity: Flower Badge Making and Colouring
Students participated in a creative flower badge-making and colouring activity inspired by the flowers of India, Australia, and Switzerland. They coloured beautifully illustrated flower worksheets and designed small badges that reflected their favourite floral patterns and colours.
The completed artworks were later displayed during the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), giving students an opportunity to proudly present their creative efforts to their parents and teachers. Students experienced learning beyond the classroom through a delightful nature excursion in the school garden where they observed and identified colourful flowers in their natural surroundings. The school organised a vibrant Flower Fancy Dress activity in which students dressed up as different flowers or wore colourful flower-themed masks and costumes.
