 In pursuance to the Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi order no. F.DE/ACT/2011/6525-34 dated 16.12.2011 the following criteria has been laid down for admission to Pre-school class in the school for the year 2012-2013.

1. Available Seats:

2. Category wise Seat Distribution

i) 25% of the seats shall be reserved for :

a) the child belonging to weaker section provided the total annual income of both the parents is less than one lakh rupees from all sources and who have been staying in Delhi for the last three years or more, and

b) the child belonging to disadvantaged group i.e. a child belonging to the Scheduled castes, the Scheduled tribes, the Other Backward classes not falling in the creamy layer, child with special needs and suffering from disability as defined in the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection and Full Participation) Act, 1996.

ii) 20% seats shall be kept under Management Quota

iii) The remaining general seats shall be filled on 100 points scale based on school specific criteria.

3. Criteria For Selection

  1. The eligible candidates applying under Category 2(a) and (b) above to fill up the seats shall be considered for selection on random basis through draw of lots in the presence of nominee of the Directorate of Education.
  2. The candidates applying under Management Quota shall be admitted on the discretion of the Management of the school.
  3. Other candidates shall be selected on the 100 points scale based on school specific criteria.


4. School Specific Criteria for general candidates

  The school follows the neighbourhood policy of the Govt. of NCR. Points

(b) Siblings including cousin in the joint family with same address 10
(c) Staff ward 10
(d) First child 10
(e) Girl child 10
(f) Alumni 10
(g) Transferable job 10
(h) Children with special needs (physically handicapped) 5
(i) Single Parent (widow) 5

5. Age as on 31.03.2012 

Pre-school
3 years plus


6. Registration:

Registration forms shall be available at the fee counter of the school from 02.01.2012 to 16.01.2012 (on all working days) between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only. For EWS / Disadvantaged category the common application form prescribed by the Directorate of Education shall be available free of cost.

The filled in forms should be deposited in the office of the school by 16.01.2012 upto 2:00 p.m.
The filled in application form under general category should contain the attested photocopies of the following documents:

  1. Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation.
  2. Two different proofs of residence.
  3. One photograph each of the child, mother and father or the guardian as the case may be.
  4. Photocopies of proofs in support of school specific criteria.
  5. The form under EWS/Disadvantaged category should be complete in all respects.


7. Admission:

The admission shall be made without any discrimination of caste/religion or region etc. by the admission committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal and assisted by the Headmistress/Incharge Nursery. For random selection under EWS/Disadvantaged category, Govt. nominee shall also be invited.

No interview or interaction shall be held with the candidates or parents.

8. Fee Structure:

The following is the proposed fee structure for Pre-school Class for the academic session 2012-2013.

9. Refund:

Refund of fee etc. shall be governed as per the instructions / orders of the Director of Education.
