Janmashtami Celebration: Nurturing Culture, Ethics and Shared Values

Young learners of Classes I and II presented a vibrant Janmashtami celebration, offering students a rich blend of cultural heritage and experiential learning.

The event commenced with a graceful dance performance, followed by six detailed thematic tableaus (Jhanki) depicting key milestones from Lord Krishna’s life journey:

  • The birth in Karagar
  • Vasudev crossing the Yamuna with Sheshnag
  • The playful Makhan Chor narratives
  • The victory over Kaliya Naag
  • The lifting of Govardhan Hill
  • Joyful moments with Radha and the Gopis

The event also featured inspiring Geeta Shloka recitations, a beautifully decorated ceremonial swing for baby Krishna, and the traditional distribution of prashad.

Beyond the festivities, the event provided valuable exposure to cultural roots while fostering overall skill development. Through these performances and collaborative activities, students enhanced their language and oration skills, gained an understanding of foundational ethics and devotion and practiced coordination and sharing while serving prashad and learning about traditional festive foods.

This memorable event truly demonstrated the school's commitment to combining holistic student development with strong cultural values.

Rising Strategists: Team SPS Rohini Secures Second Runner-Up Position at Prodigy XIX

A dynamic four-member team comprising Bhawik Jindal, Kriti Singhal, Navya Jain and Saanvi Yadav from Class XII D represented SPS Rohini at Prodigy XIX, India’s premier Business and Management Conclave for high school students, hosted by the prestigious Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

The intellectual battle began with a rigorous online preliminary round on 14 April 2026, culminating in an intense two-day grand finale at the college campus on 16 and 17 April 2026. Designed to challenge the sharpest young minds, the conclave put the participants' commercial awareness, strategic foresight, analytical acumen and high-stakes decision-making to test.

Navigating complex corporate scenarios with remarkable composure and sharp teamwork, our students outshone competition from over 100 top schools across Delhi/NCR to proudly clinch the Second Runner-Up trophy. Their brilliant performance not only highlights their exceptional business expertise but also brings tremendous pride and honour to the entire school community.

Janmashtami and Raksha Bandhan Celebration

Sachdeva Public School celebrated the auspicious festivals of Janmashtami and Raksha Bandhan on 25 August, 2026 in the Multipurpose Hall, with the students of Classes VI and VII presenting a vibrant and thoughtfully curated programme. The celebration featured a thematic play based on the life of Lord Krishna, bringing alive significant episodes such as his birth and the Govardhan Leela. Through expressive enactments, the students illuminated timeless virtues including wisdom, courage, empathy, compassion and righteousness. The narrative was seamlessly interwoven with the essence of Raksha Bandhan, foregrounding the values of love, care, trust and the cherished bond between siblings. Melodious choir renditions and graceful dance performances further enriched the programme, creating an atmosphere of devotion and celebration. The event culminated as a memorable confluence of heritage, artistic expression and character building, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible, culturally rooted and compassionate young minds.

Knowledge through cinema

SPS, Rohini organized a special screening of the biographical movie ‘Michael’ for the students of Classes VI – VIII at a nearby cinema. The event aimed to offer students an enriching cultural experience while giving them a creative break from their regular academic routines.

The movie captivated the young audience with its dynamic storytelling, iconic music and extraordinary choreography. The key themes of perseverance and the global impact of performance art were vividly highlighted. The students were awestruck by the portrayal of the life of legendary and timeless icon, Michael Jackson. The outing was conducted smoothly with teachers and staff accompanying each group to ensure safety and discipline during transit and inside the theatre. The excursion proved to be a resounding success, offering a delightful mix of entertainment, inspiration and peer bonding among middle-school students.

Out of 41 Schools, Our Dancers Take Home the Best Rhythmic Excellence Award!

The students of SPS Rohini, brought immense pride and glory to the institution by delivering a breathtaking performance at the prestigious Classical Dance Competition organized by The Art and Aesthetic Foundation. Held on August 19, 2026, at the iconic Kamani Auditorium, the event brought together talented performers from 41 schools across the region.

Demonstrating flawless grace, intricate footwork and exceptional synchronization, our dance troupe captivated both the audience and the esteemed panel of judges. Outshining fierce competition, the team bagged the highly coveted Best Rhythmic Excellence Award.

Adding another feather to their cap, the team’s stellar performance earned them the honour of representing the school on an international platform at an upcoming Cultural Programme in Malaysia. Kudos to our young talented artists!

A nostalgic homecoming: alumni meet

SPS Rohini, hosted a memorable ‘Alumni Meet’, welcoming former students from the foundation years to the 2008 batch. Alumni joyfully reconnected with their teachers, revisited classrooms and cherished memorable interactions, including a heartfelt meeting with the former Principal. The reunion concluded with a delightful lunch and DJ session, strengthening the lifelong bond between the school and its alumni. The event was a grand success as it was more than just a reunion - an opportunity to celebrate shared memories, achievements and the institution’s legacy.

Family Day

In true harmony with experiential and play-based learning, our Nursery little ones turned Family Day into a joyful, heart-melting celebration! Stepping into the shoes of the people they adore most, our tiny tots arrived in charming sarees, kurtas, dupattas, specs, walking sticks, and miniature handbags—effortlessly transforming into beloved grandfathers, grandmothers, mothers, fathers, and uncles. Watching them playfully imitate the gentle gestures and loving antics of their family members was pure magic. This creative role-play seamlessly blended socio-emotional growth with artistic expression, helping young learners naturally absorb core foundational values like empathy, respect for elders, gratitude, and a strong sense of identity. More than just an activity, the event honoured the vital role of family in early childhood development, proving that learning truly begins at home.

Vegetable Parade

"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn." — Benjamin Franklin

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020's focus on experiential learning and play-based pedagogy, our Pre-Primary tiny tots recently brought the school campus to life with a vibrant Vegetable Parade! Dressed as colourful carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, and more, our young learners took to the stage to proudly introduce their favourite greens through catchy rhymes and adorable costumes. This activity seamlessly blended art, expression, and early science, encouraging activity-based learning that helps children build confidence, develop communication skills and embrace healthy habits from an early age.

Prevent Diarrhoea, Protect Health

SPS, Rohini, successfully observed the ‘Stop Diarrhoea Campaign’ to promote awareness about hygiene, sanitation and preventive healthcare among students. The aspiring scholars actively participated in ‘Poster Making and Painting Competitions’ to creatively express the significance of maintaining hygiene and healthy practices. The posters were prominently displayed across the school premises to reinforce the campaign’s message.

The campaign was both informative and engaging, fostering awareness, encouraging healthy habits and emphasizing the preventive measures to combat diarrhoeal diseases among students.

Together for a vector free future

SPS, Rohini, embarked on an awareness initiative to sensitise students about vector-borne diseases and their transmission. To make the awareness drive engaging and impactful, a range of creative activities and competitions, including ‘Poster Making and Nukkad Natak’ were conducted.

The initiative fostered a sense of responsibility among students, motivating them to become proactive ambassadors of health, hygiene and community well-being. The campaign was an enriching and meaningful experience, reinforcing the key takeaway that thoughtful decisions and practical measures play a vital role in preventing vector-borne diseases.

Plant today, breathe tomorrow

SPS, Rohini successfully conducted a ‘Mega Tree Plantation Drive’ during the monsoon plantation season to foster environmental awareness and instil a sense of responsibility towards nature among students. As part of the drive, students were encouraged and guided by their teachers to plant saplings and seedlings at various locations in the school premises.

The drive was an enriching experience for the students, inspiring them to become responsible and environmentally conscious citizens simultaneously enhancing the school’s green cover.

Smashing the way to victory

The young prodigies of SPS, Rohini, crafted a brilliant display of skill, speed and spirit at the ‘Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament 2026’, organized at Ramjas Day Boarding School from 27 April to 4 May, 2026. The school achieved a remarkable feat as the ‘Under-13 Girls Team’ secured the First Position, emerging victorious over D.P.S. R.K. Puram in the finals and bringing great honour to the institution. Bhartiya bhasha summer camp – 2026

The ‘Bhartiya Bhasha Summer Camp, 2026’ was successfully organized at SPS, Rohini from 20 May to 27 May 2026 under the initiative 'Learn One More Bharatiya Bhasha', with Bangla as the selected language. Through engaging activities such as learning ‘Bangla Role Plays, Flash Cards, Virtual Tour of Bengal, Cultural Presentations, Bengali Cuisine and Bangla Nukkad Natak’, students explored the state's rich language and heritage. The camp enhanced their linguistic skills while fostering cultural awareness, national integration and the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'.

DDA ka harit delhi abhiyan plantation drive 2026-27

Sachdeva Public School, Sec-13, Rohini has actively participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign organized under #MissionGreenDelhi on 7 July 2026 and received Certificate of Participation from Smt. Rekha Gupta,Chief Minister of Delhi.The school contributed towards building a greener and more sustainable future by planting many trees by green warriors in honour of their mother, promoting environmental responsibility and the values of care, gratitude, and sustainability.This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to environmental conservation and community participation in creating a healthier Delhi.

First Position in Zonal Badminton Championship

Driven by passion and united in victory, the ‘Junior Badminton Girls Team’ of SPS, Rohini, added another feather to their cap by securing the First Position in the Zonal Badminton Tournament. The tournament, held from July 14 to July 16, 2026, at Yuva Shakti Model School, Rohini, witnessed spirited competition from across the Zone. Demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork and grit, the valiant players clinched the top spot, bringing immense pride to the institution.

Proud Moment for Our School: Gold Medal in Delhi State Basketball Championship

We are thrilled to announce that Prisha Sharma of Class XI-B participated in the Delhi State Basketball Championship.

The tournament took place at K.R.S.A Sangam Vihar, Wazirabad, Delhi, from June 1 to June 5, 2026.Competing in the Under-17 category, Prisha secured the First Position and was awarded the Gold Medal, along with a Certificate of Merit.

International dance day- 20 april, 2026

Rhythm, passion and pure talent took center stage on the occasion of International Dance Day. Our school’s performance at Indraprastha International School, Dwarka was a breathtaking celebration of movement that left the audience spellbound.
