‘We don’t own the planet Earth, we belong to it and we must share it with our wildlife.’

Classes – LKG-UKG

Activity - Documentaries

The learning event was taken a step forward with the aid of fun-filled and exciting documentaries. Teaching children about animals is a great way to keep them constructively occupied. The students were shown wildlife documentaries which featured all kinds of animals of India, Finland and South Africa that included theElephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion, Rhino, Brown Bear, Snowy Owl and Reindeer etc. These documentaries proved to be great educational tools in exposing our kids to the great big world - different ecosystems and cultures - and helped them acquire knowledge about the habitat, homes and eating habits of these animals. Our Pre-Primary studentsenjoyed watching the animal documentaries and had a fun time exploring the world of the Animal Kingdom. It gave them an opportunity to learn amazing facts about these animals by stepping out of their fantasy world of stuff toys, dolls and fairies. The process of acquiring such knowledge helped the students to explore their imagination, creativity, innovation and inquisitiveness to the fullest. The aim of the activity was to take them on a journey to the world of animals - to inspire them from a young age to think with compassion and show respect for the earth.
